How Design Shapes Culture

Design Influences Behavior, Emotion and Identity

Design shapes how we gather, how we belong and how we see the world around us. Whether we realise it or not, design influences behaviour, emotion and identity. This theme sat at the heart of our latest Inspire Series by Nteractive event.

We hosted an exclusive experience at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City, bringing together key clients and members of our community for a private tour exploring how design is used to create meaning, connection and inclusion. From Cooper Hewitt, guests travelled to Casa Tua at The Surrey, a Corinthia Hotel, for an intimate Chef’s Table dinner. The conversation shifted from observation to interpretation: what inspired us most, how design shapes culture in different contexts and how these ideas can be used more intentionally in experience design today.

This piece captures those reflections and the insight they sparked.
